Health and Safety Consultant – Doha

About the role

Marsh Risk Consulting is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Consultant to join its advisory team in Doha, Qatar. You will work on high‑impact projects across construction, oil & gas, utilities and other heavy‑industry sectors, helping clients improve risk management and embed robust HSE practices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored HSE consulting projects that improve clients' risk management.
• Review client operations to identify and analyse risks to employees, contractors, visitors and other stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive HSE documentation and embed it into client processes.
• Conduct on‑site visits, assess HSE capabilities, identify gaps and produce corrective‑action reports.
• Provide in‑person and online training on health, safety and environmental management.
• Prepare concise reports and presentations for senior client audiences.
• Offer risk‑management advice and consultancy on HSE matters.
• Build and maintain relationships to support business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environmental science, engineering or a related discipline.
• 5‑15 years of consulting experience in construction, oil & gas, utilities or heavy industry.
• Proven senior advisory or consultancy experience, preferably with UK‑market projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent‑working abilities.
• Excellent report‑writing and presentation skills.
