Health and Safety Executive – Saudi National Talent

About the role

The Health and Safety Executive will join Jumeirah The Red Sea to lead and support HSE initiatives across the resort. This position focuses on ensuring a safe environment for guests, staff, contractors, and visitors while complying with Saudi regulations and Jumeirah standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine HSE inspections across all operational areas and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Support workplace risk assessments and help departments implement effective control measures.
• Assist investigations of incidents, accidents, near‑misses, unsafe acts and conditions, including root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor and third‑party activities for compliance with permit‑to‑work procedures and safe work practices.
• Support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, response exercises and equipment inspections.
• Maintain and continuously review HSE policies, SOPs, risk assessments and incident management processes.
• Oversee environmental compliance activities such as waste management, chemical storage and spill prevention.
• Ensure beach and waterfront safety through signage reviews, rescue equipment readiness and incident reporting.
• Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections and compliance assessments.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and awareness sessions for staff and contractors.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Housekeeping, F&B, HR, Recreation and other departments on HSE matters.

Required profile

• Saudi national with proven experience in health, safety and environmental (HSE) roles, preferably within hospitality or large‑scale resort environments.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international best practices.
• Ability to conduct inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations independently.
