Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to be based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. You will promote Specialized Nutrition (SN) products, build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and ensure our nutrition solutions meet their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to establish and maintain scientific‑based relationships with HCPs.
• Present product information, clinical studies and benefits through audio‑visual meetings and detailing sessions.
• Identify business opportunities, implement weekly call cycles and respond to competitive activities.
• Maintain high product knowledge, handle HCP queries and complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports, manage daily databases and follow administrative procedures.
• Participate in seminars, nutrition education events and team meetings to discuss market insights and KPIs.
• Collect intelligence on HCPs and competitors, and provide actionable insights to management.

Required profile

• Strong scientific communication skills with the ability to influence HCP attitudes.
• Experience in field‑based medical or nutrition sales, preferably within the Middle East.
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory and meet quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
• Understanding of ethical standards for nutrition products and compliance requirements.
