Heavy Equipment Operator – Solar Field

About the role

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work in the solar field, performing cleaning and maintenance tasks using heavy machinery. Reporting to the Maintenance/Solar Field Engineer, the role ensures safe and efficient operation of cleaning trucks in line with O&M procedures and HSE guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery and cleaning trucks to meet daily solar field loop cleaning targets.
• Perform pre‑, during‑, and post‑operation checks on trucks (oil level, water level, lights, air circuit purge, etc.).
• Execute Level 1 maintenance such as fixing air/oil leaks, changing hoses, and adjusting detectors.
• Coordinate with Control Room Operators to align cleaning positions and speeds.
• Troubleshoot and maintain cleaning trucks, ensuring proper cleaning angles and distances as per supplier recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of trucks and use packing areas correctly.

Required profile

• Qualified Mechanical Technician with a valid truck driving license.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably with CSP technologies and cleaning‑truck operation.
• Familiarity with access loop roads, inter‑communication with control rooms, and water‑treatment basics.
• Commitment to health, safety, security, and environmental procedures.
