Home Healthcare Consultant – Western Certified

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Home Healthcare Consultant to join a leading hospital and healthcare centre in Riyadh. The consultant will deliver expert medical care to patients in their homes, ensuring comprehensive, patient‑centered services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up for patients receiving care at home.
• Develop individualized care plans for complex, chronic and multiple medical conditions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, pharmacists and other team members.
• Monitor clinical progress, adjust treatment plans, and manage acute changes, including escalation or hospital referral.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications and ongoing care needs.
• Supervise and support physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in home care.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, service development initiatives and committee work.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized school in good standing.
• Postgraduate training in a relevant specialty and board certification (American Board, UK CCT/CCST, Australian FRACP or equivalent).
• Qualification recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Minimum five years of post‑board or post‑fellowship experience in a relevant medical specialty.
