Home Healthcare Driver

About the role

The Home Healthcare Driver ensures safe and timely transportation of the clinical team, equipment and supplies to patients’ homes in accordance with approved operating hours. When not engaged in scheduled visits, the driver may support other hospital transportation tasks, provided they do not interfere with primary responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation schedule based on the approved HHC visit schedule.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records and vehicle checklists, and submit them on time.
• Report delays, incidents or scheduling conflicts promptly to the supervisor.
• Transport the clinical team, equipment and supplies safely to and from patients’ homes, adhering to infection‑control and safety policies.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, keep the vehicle clean and disinfected, and report any mechanical issues.
• Support other hospital transportation needs when no HHC visits are scheduled, without delaying scheduled visits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Minimum 1–2 years of driving experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Ability to follow infection‑control precautions and maintain patient confidentiality.
