Host/Hostess (Saudi Nationality)

About the role

As a Host/Hostess you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them warmly and guiding them through their dining experience while upholding IBIS service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests in a professional manner aligned with IBIS standards.
• Manage seating, table allocations and dining flow for both reservations and walk‑in guests.
• Handle reservations using the restaurant reservation system, confirming details and communicating updates.
• Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries and support booking processes.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and reception area throughout service.
• Address guest feedback, concerns and requests, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• At least 1 year experience in a guest‑facing or hospitality role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
• Confident, welcoming personality with a passion for guest service.
• Ability to stay calm, organized and attentive during busy periods.
• Flexible availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Well‑groomed appearance meeting IBIS brand standards.
