Hot Gas Path Repair Engineer – Graduate Program

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s two‑year Graduate Program as a Hot Gas Path Repair Engineer within the Dammam Production team. You will support the growth of the Hot Gas Path Repair (HGPR) facility while building a solid technical foundation in gas‑turbine component repair.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in developing, documenting, and qualifying repair procedures for turbine blades and vanes.
• Support technical evaluation of incoming components to define repair scope.
• Apply welding, brazing, coating, and machining techniques under supervision.
• Collaborate with workshop technicians to execute repairs and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare and maintain work instructions, process specifications, and repair reports.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Collect and analyse data on repair process performance indicators.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience through internships, graduate programs, or early‑career roles.
• Minimum of 3 months international exposure (study or work).
• Strong theoretical understanding of engineering and manufacturing fundamentals.
• High learning agility and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
