Hotel Electrician – Maintenance & Energy Conservation

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our hotel’s technical team. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment and systems, ensuring safety, reliability and energy efficiency throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair electrical equipment including fire alarm systems, motor control centres and inter‑connectivity with third‑party systems.
• Assist fire‑alarm contractors during scheduled maintenance and brief them on equipment condition.
• Maintain adequate stock of spare parts and verify the quality of purchased materials.
• Implement energy‑saving measures and support the hotel’s energy‑conservation program.
• Perform daily checks on lighting control, power systems, MV/LV service rooms, energy meters, transformer rooms, fire‑pump rooms, room‑management and water‑tank systems, as well as the BMS.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, record service histories and advise on system improvements.
• Support the supervisor in preparing spare‑parts lists and assist with monthly inventory of operating equipment.
• Provide breakdown service in guest rooms and maintain public‑area electrical equipment.
• Keep plant rooms, workshops and related areas clean and tidy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintaining electrical systems within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with fire‑alarm systems, motor control centres and building management systems.
• Ability to follow preventive‑maintenance programmes and perform accurate documentation.
• Strong focus on safety, energy efficiency and quality of work.
