Housing Specialist

About the role

The Housing Specialist ensures that residential facilities are clean, safe, and well‑maintained. You will oversee soft services, monitor utilities, coordinate maintenance activities, and supervise contractors to provide a comfortable living environment for occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage building attendants and cleaning teams, distribute supplies, and evaluate housekeeping standards.
• Oversee water supply, sewage extraction, pest control, fire safety devices, kitchen amenities, swimming pools, landscaping, and elevator maintenance.
• Monitor utility consumption, prepare financial reports, review invoices, and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Coordinate with property owners and FM teams, receive and prioritize maintenance tickets, approve work orders and costs.
• Identify process improvements, propose best practices, and support continuous operational enhancements.
• Handle administrative tasks for public‑sector entities, document asset relocations, and act as backup for team members.
• Supervise external contractors performing work within housing facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities or housing management.
• Proven ability to supervise service teams and external contractors.
• Strong understanding of utility systems, safety equipment, and soft‑service operations.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with tenants, owners, and internal stakeholders.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
