HR Business Partner – Employee Onboarding & Probation Management

About the role
The HR Business Partner will drive the successful onboarding, probation monitoring, and performance appraisal processes for new employees. You will ensure that each new hire receives the necessary support, documentation, and mentorship during their first six months.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor probation periods, maintain confirmation lists, and coordinate increment implementation after successful probation.
- Facilitate the performance appraisal cycle, including distribution of self‑appraisal forms, manager assessments, and appraisal meetings.
- Prepare and distribute Job Scorecards to align job descriptions, responsibilities, and KPIs with each position.
- Assist with the induction process, handling biometric registration, bank account setup, contract signing, and workplace allocation.
- Implement and manage a Buddy Program, conducting follow‑up calls/emails to new joiners within their first three to six months.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing probation periods and employee appraisals.
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining Job Scorecards.
- Hands‑on experience with employee induction and onboarding procedures.
- Ability to coordinate a Buddy Program and maintain regular communication with new hires.
