HR Business Partner

About the role

As the primary HR representative for Unilever in Saudi Arabia, you will build strong internal and external relationships, ensuring HR practices align with local regulations and business objectives. You will partner closely with senior leaders to drive efficiency across joint‑venture operations and support the broader People Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Unilever's HR face in KSA, fostering relationships with corporate peers and government bodies.
• Collaborate with the Head of CBD and Head of Finance to improve governance, workforce planning, reward practices, culture, and learning initiatives.
• Apply deep knowledge of Saudi labour law to ensure compliant, fair HR processes and protect Unilever’s reputation.
• Support the Head of HR Arabia in designing and implementing country‑specific policies on employment, benefits, ED&I, university relations, and employee/industrial relations.
• Lead employer‑brand initiatives in the KSA market to attract top talent.
• Participate in HR projects that implement the Unilever People Plan for the CBD and Finance teams.
• Serve on boards of Unilever legal entities, overseeing fiduciary duties related to business integrity, safety, health, environment, and workplace standards.
• Lead crisis management efforts in partnership with business leaders during emergencies.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the KSA HR team, including factory‑based staff.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of Saudi labour legislation and HR compliance.
• Proven experience partnering with senior finance and operations leaders.
• Ability to design and execute HR strategies, governance frameworks, and workforce planning.
• Experience in employer branding and talent attraction within the region.
• Strong crisis‑management capabilities.
• Leadership experience supervising and developing HR teams.
