HSE Auditor – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

The HSE Auditor is responsible for ensuring that all work sites and facilities comply with health, safety and environmental regulations. You will conduct regular audits, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute periodic HSE audits and inspections across multiple locations.
• Verify compliance with company HSE policies, OSHA standards and local regulations.
• Identify hazards, unsafe practices and non‑conformities; document findings in detailed audit reports.
• Prepare recommendations and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
• Inspect field work to assess effectiveness of risk controls and safe work practices.
• Review risk assessments, JSA/JHA, Permit‑to‑Work systems and incident records for compliance.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, emergency response plans, firefighting equipment and PPE availability.
• Develop and maintain annual audit plans and maintain accurate audit records.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, OSHA standards and industry best practices.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and managing CAPA processes.
• Ability to analyse data, produce clear reports and communicate findings to management.
• Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
