HSE Engineer

About the role

The HSE Engineer will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, identify workplace hazards, and conduct risk assessments. This role involves performing safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations, as well as developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures. The engineer will also conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills, monitor the use of PPE, maintain HSE records, and promote environmental protection through waste and pollution control.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Promote environmental protection through waste and pollution control.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety.
• Foster a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and SEC standards.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience with SEC approval.
