HSE Officer – Safety & Environment Role

About the role

The HSE Officer will ensure that health, safety and environmental policies are implemented and adhered to at the Lamar Factory. The role involves monitoring compliance, conducting risk assessments, delivering safety training and supporting emergency response planning to maintain a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in regular HSE compliance assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in risk assessments, define protection measures and support implementation of controls.
• Help integrate HSE considerations into business processes and project planning.
• Support delivery of HSE training for employees and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and assist in hazard identification and risk control.
• Assist in developing emergency plans, training response teams and coordinating evacuations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Technology.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in HSE roles within manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, communicate effectively and follow safety procedures.
