Human Resources Manager – Pre‑Opening Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the pre‑opening phase of Hyatt Place AlUla, a new 214‑room hotel in Saudi Arabia. You will develop and execute HR strategies that support our business objectives and ensure we attract, develop, and retain top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and staffing for all hotel positions, from job description creation to onboarding.
• Design and deliver training programs to equip staff with the skills needed for exceptional guest service.
• Manage employee relations, address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote open communication.
• Oversee performance management, guiding managers on evaluations and development plans.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local employment laws.
• Foster a strong organizational culture aligned with Hyatt’s values to boost engagement and retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a pre‑opening environment.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to create effective training programs and drive employee engagement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
