HVAC Technician – Installation, Maintenance & Repair

About the role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, operate, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems for residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. The role ensures systems run efficiently, safely, and in line with project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, maintain and repair HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV, split and packaged units, and exhaust/fresh‑air systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and control faults and carry out troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming and leak detection.
• Monitor system performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local codes and project quality requirements.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance logs and records, and coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air‑Conditioning or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on HVAC experience in project or facilities environments.
• Experience on GCC/UAE projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA and CIBSE.
