Hygiene Supervisor – 5‑Star Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Hygiene Supervisor to lead cleaning and sanitation operations at a prestigious 5‑star luxury hotel on the Red Sea. The role ensures the highest standards of hygiene, guest satisfaction and compliance with health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning activities across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens and back‑of‑house zones.
• Develop, implement and monitor hygiene protocols and cleaning schedules in line with health and safety regulations.
• Train, mentor and motivate housekeeping and hygiene staff, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits, identify improvement areas and resolve hygiene issues promptly.
• Manage inventory, stock control and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide seamless service and maintain a safe environment.
• Handle guest feedback related to cleanliness, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution.
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations, safety standards and hotel policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Hygiene Supervisor or similar role in a 5‑star luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, cleaning techniques and health‑safety regulations.
• Leadership and team‑management abilities with a track record of training staff.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain high standards and adapt to shift work including weekends and holidays.
• Relevant certification in hygiene or housekeeping is a plus.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE.
