IBM CP4I OpenShift Operations Administrator

About the role

InnovationTeam is hiring a full-time IBM CP4I OpenShift Operations Administrator in Riyadh. This systems infrastructure specialist designs, deploys, secures and maintains the enterprise hybrid-cloud integration architecture, sitting at the intersection of Cloud DevOps and Middleware Engineering. The role covers end-to-end administration of IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP), ensuring high availability and continuous automated pipeline scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, architect, install and configure Red Hat OpenShift clusters across hybrid cloud environments, provisioning the CP4I platform with Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM)
• Manage and lifecycle-configure CP4I components via their IBM operators: IBM MQ, API Connect, App Connect (ACE), Event Streams (Kafka) and Aspera
• Secure clusters with RBAC, manage OpenShift OAuth integrations, Keycloak/IAM identity layers and SSL/TLS certificates
• Architect container persistent storage with Software-Defined Storage engines and schedule zero-downtime cluster upgrades, security patches and node updates
• Configure APM dashboards, automate multi-tenant provisioning with GitOps, and troubleshoot cluster degradation, persistent volume failures and pod networking issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a closely related technical discipline
• Deep hands-on experience managing production-grade OpenShift clusters and administering CP4I components
• Solid knowledge of SDN/OVN, ingress/route architectures, service meshes (Istio), network policies and container security scanning
• Strong grasp of enterprise integration patterns, message queuing and API lifecycle architectures
• Exceptional analytical and debugging skills, with attention to container density logs and compute sizing
• Fluent written and spoken English; spoken and written Arabic is highly advantageous
