ICU Registered Nurse

About the role

The ICU Registered Nurse delivers high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to critically ill patients in a hospital setting. Working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, the nurse assesses patient needs, develops individualized care plans, and ensures accurate medical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, including physical exams, vital signs, and symptom monitoring.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects and adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and infection monitoring.
• Assist physicians during procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Observe, record, and report changes in patient status to the medical team.
• Respond to medical emergencies, perform purposeful rounding, and follow emergency protocols.
• Maintain strict infection‑control standards and participate in surveillance reporting.
• Document accurate patient care records and communicate effectively with the care team.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensure.
• Experience working in an Intensive Care Unit or critical‑care environment.
