Income Auditor

About the role

The Income Auditor ensures the accuracy and integrity of all revenue postings across the hotel’s departments. Working closely with front‑office, food & beverage, and finance teams, you will safeguard financial data and support timely month‑end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements.
• Verify that every department has posted its revenues correctly.
• Monitor and review nightly audit reports and overall hotel financial reports.
• Handle credit‑card charge‑backs, inquiries, and daily commission reconciliations.
• Reconcile point‑of‑sale data for each outlet with the Property Management System (PMS) and adjust entries as needed.
• Review front‑office rebates, paid‑outs, miscellaneous and staff charges for proper authorization.
• Validate F&B voids and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
• Prepare daily operational packages for senior management.
• Assist with month‑end closing, bank account analysis, and income journal entries.
• Support the General Cashier with surprise float counts and act as Audit Supervisor in their absence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of income auditing or similar experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
