Indirect Procurement Manager

About the role

JD.com is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for its European operations. The role focuses on categories such as warehouse equipment, consumables, interior renovation, and administration, ensuring efficient sourcing and cost‑effective purchasing.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize the end‑to‑end procurement process, from request handling to supplier selection and performance management.
• Develop and execute procurement plans that align with business objectives and cost‑control targets.
• Analyze procurement data and historical spend to design effective purchasing models.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to foster a sustainable and reliable supply ecosystem.
• Monitor vendor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in indirect procurement or category management, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret spend data and drive cost‑saving strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier engagement.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with logistics, finance, and operations teams.
