Industry‑Aligned Vocational Trainer – Hospitality & Tourism

About the role

TMI is looking for an experienced Trainer to deliver competency‑based vocational training across its diploma programmes in luxury hospitality, food & beverage, health & wellness, and tourism security. The role blends classroom instruction with hands‑on simulations, on‑the‑job training and practical assessments to prepare students for employment in Saudi Arabia’s tourism and service sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned training using lectures, workshops, role‑plays, simulations and other applied learning methods.
• Integrate current industry practices, SOPs, technology and service standards into all sessions.
• Coordinate and supervise on‑the‑job training, internships, field visits and workplace placements with hotels, resorts, restaurants and security operations.
• Monitor student attendance, performance, safety and professionalism during workplace training and provide coaching.
• Develop, administer and document practical assessments, observation checklists and performance evaluations.
• Provide timely feedback, identify students needing additional support and help design remedial plans.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, portfolios, attendance and training logs.
• Contribute to curriculum review and the creation of training materials within the approved scope.

Required profile

• Strong background in hospitality, tourism, food & beverage, health & wellness or security sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adults using student‑centered, competency‑based methodologies.
• Experience coordinating on‑the‑job training and liaising with industry partners.
• Commitment to aligning training with TVTC requirements and industry expectations.
