Information Technology Governance Lead Expert

About the role

Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) is hiring an Information Technology Governance Lead Expert in Riyadh. At this level, jobholders act as a source of expertise and are responsible for developing frameworks, policies and operational plans, analyzing complex issues, understanding business needs and turning them into concrete actions that improve the performance of the function.

Key responsibilities

• IT Service Management: conduct benchmarking and research, gather business users' operational needs and define, maintain and update ZATCA's IT and digitization service offerings and catalogue; receive change requests, assess their impact and update the service catalog after implementation and acceptance.
• Develop the IT service portfolio to meet business and customer needs, and set IT service KPIs based on the IT and digitization strategy and collected performance data.
• Monitor the Service Level Management process, negotiate technical SLAs with service providers and internal stakeholders, and track adherence to KPIs.
• Collect performance data, generate regular reports against KPIs and objectives, and share IT services performance reports with internal and external stakeholders.
• Follow policies, processes and SOPs, help solve escalated problems, support junior staff and escalate complex issues.
• Train junior staff, give clear direction, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities and monitor workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; a Master's in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced competencies in IT compliance, IT strategy and architecture, project management, negotiation and influence, vendor management and results orientation.
• Proficiency in collaboration and communication, customer focus, enablement of change and innovation, professionalism and being results oriented.
