Intensive Care Specialist (Clinical Medicine)

About the role

The Intensive Care Clinical Medical Specialist provides high‑quality patient care within the intensive care unit, following Fakeeh Care policies and clinical standards. The role involves direct patient management, documentation, education, and collaboration with attending physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care according to granted privileges and Fakeeh Care standards, documenting all interventions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Perform or assist in medical/surgical procedures within the scope of privileges.
• Provide timely medical reports in the required format.
• Participate in departmental meetings, scientific activities, and junior training.
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board/Fellowship/Master degree in the relevant specialty from a recognized medical center.
• License to practice as per regional health authority (e.g., SCFHS, DHA) and BLS certification.
• Relevant clinical experience in recognized medical centers as required by the regulatory authority.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
