Internal Audit Supervisor

About the role

The Internal Audit Supervisor will lead and coordinate audit engagements across the organization, ensuring that internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes are effective and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute internal audit assignments across multiple departments.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes and risk management practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
• Lead audit engagements, assign tasks to team members and monitor progress.
• Prepare audit reports, document findings and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure audit findings are addressed.
• Identify operational, financial and compliance risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with department heads to obtain necessary information and facilitate audit execution.
• Support the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in internal audit; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Familiarity with Saudi regulations and corporate governance principles.
• Professional certification such as CIA, SOCPA, CPA or ACCA is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and report‑writing abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
