Internal Communication Specialist

About the role

The Internal Communication Specialist designs and delivers communication initiatives that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company’s priorities and culture. You will work closely with HR, Marketing, and Corporate Communications to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communication plans and campaigns that support employee engagement objectives.
• Create, edit, and distribute content via email, newsletters, intranet, digital screens, and other internal platforms.
• Coordinate company‑wide announcements, policy updates, event promotions, and achievement highlights.
• Partner with leadership to prepare announcements, presentations, talking points, and employee messages.
• Maintain the internal communication calendar and support town halls, employee events, and engagement activities.
• Monitor engagement metrics, surveys, and feedback to assess communication effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Identify new channels and tools to enhance reach and employee interaction.
• Support change‑management communications by producing clear materials that explain organizational changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience in internal or corporate communications, employee engagement, or a similar role.
• Preferably experienced in a large, multi‑location retail or corporate environment.
