Inventory Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Consultant to join Salla’s product team. The role focuses on designing and optimizing inventory processes across warehouses, branches and online channels, ensuring merchants can manage stock efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse end‑to‑end stock movement across multiple locations to uncover operational pain points.
• Design system logic and process flows for replenishment, transfers and multi‑location visibility.
• Act as the subject‑matter authority for OMS, ERP and WMS integrations within Salla’s ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to validate inventory workflows, reconciliation rules and tracking mechanisms.
• Define best‑practice guidelines for merchants on inventory accuracy, forecasting and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as stock accuracy, order fulfillment rate and inventory turnover.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in inventory management, warehouse systems or retail operations.
• Proven track record delivering ERP or OMS implementations (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle or custom solutions).
• Deep knowledge of SKU management, stock reconciliation and multi‑branch operations.
• Experience working closely with technology or product teams to enhance system workflows.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on precision, scalability and process design.
