IT Assistant – Hotel Technical Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Assistant to deliver first‑line technical support to hotel staff and maintain the IT infrastructure at The House Hotel Jeddah. The role ensures that computers, printers, phones, Wi‑Fi and hotel systems run smoothly for both employees and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software and network issues reported by hotel staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, phones, Wi‑Fi and networking equipment.
• Support daily operation of hotel systems such as PMS, POS and other business applications, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Install, configure and update devices and software in line with company standards.
• Perform routine backups, antivirus updates and security checks to protect hotel data.
• Set up IT equipment for meetings, conferences and events, and assist guests with in‑room technology.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude with a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to work in shifts and respond to urgent issues.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as PMS and POS (advantage).
