IT Deskside Support Engineer – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

Provide on‑site Level 2 deskside support to end users in Riyadh, handling hardware, software and peripheral issues to ensure a smooth and productive user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site deskside support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers and other peripherals.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems promptly.
• Perform IMACD activities (install, move, add, change, de‑install) for end‑user devices.
• Support OS installation, re‑imaging, encryption, driver installation and application deployment.
• Manage incident and service request tickets via the ITSM system and keep users updated.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 or specialised support teams when required.
• Assist with user onboarding and off‑boarding, including device setup and access readiness.
• Maintain knowledge‑base articles documenting recurring issues and solutions.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for hardware repair, replacement and warranty handling.
• Ensure compliance with SLA, security and IT policies.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently in an on‑site environment.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 operating system.
• Microsoft Office productivity tools.
• Desktop and laptop hardware, monitors, printers and peripherals.
• Device imaging and deployment tools such as SCCM.
• Basic Active Directory tasks (domain join, user/group support).
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes.
