IT Desktop Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide first‑ and second‑level technical assistance to end users across the organization. The role ensures smooth and secure IT operations by handling hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems and business applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory and Office 365.
• Handle onboarding and off‑boarding of user devices.
• Resolve help‑desk tickets within defined SLAs.
• Perform system updates, patch management, and antivirus maintenance.
• Support VPN and remote‑access solutions.
• Maintain IT asset records and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and warranty services.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–8 years of desktop or IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with ticketing systems and hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Effective problem‑solving and communication skills.
