IT Services & Operations Director

About the role

The IT Services & Operations Director will lead the strategic alignment of IT services, operations, data, and network management initiatives. This senior role is responsible for driving operational excellence, safeguarding data integrity, and supporting the organization’s technology growth and innovation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate existing IT services and operations designs, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to protect critical IT services.
• Oversee the architecture and deployment of servers, virtualization, operating systems, databases, storage, backup, and archiving solutions.
• Manage third‑level technical support, ensuring efficient resolution of issues such as VPN configuration, printing, and laptop problems.
• Lead the delivery of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions and maintain testing platforms that mirror production environments.
• Conduct capacity management, database tuning, and periodic health checks to uphold technology standards.
• Monitor data‑center infrastructure for high availability, performance, security, and energy efficiency.
• Develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in IT services and operations management.
• Strong background in designing and executing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Experience managing data‑center environments and third‑level technical support teams.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational processes and measurable outcomes.
