Jr. Accountant & Operations Officer

About the role

The Junior Accountant & Operations Officer will support the finance and administration team with day‑to‑day accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate financial records. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual looking to develop accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify daily transactions, ensuring supporting documents such as invoices and receipts are attached before data entry.
• Input all daily transactions (expenses, bank deposits, transfers, purchases and shipping charges) into the relevant accounting software.
• Organize and file all accounting documents and related attachments.
• Review, verify and correct monthly purchase records.
• Post transactions between software modules and reconcile monetary accounts, including banks, petty cash and transitory collections.
• Prepare and submit a daily activity report to the supervisor.
• Provide recommendations on resource usage and disbursements.
• Participate in the Medicals International Quality Management system in line with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
• Perform any other accounting‑related functions assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication skills.
