Jr. Machine Operator

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Junior Machine Operator to join its production team. The role involves operating and monitoring a food‑processing line to meet daily output targets while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Run the process line and associated equipment systematically and effectively.
• Gather hourly process control data, conduct quality wall meetings, and maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Identify and report food‑safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Summarize daily material usage, calculate seasoning and oil efficiencies, and prepare summary reports.
• Monitor and minimize water, electricity, and gas consumption.
• Supervise process workers at assigned stations and enforce good manufacturing practices.
• Operate, control, and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into finished products according to KPIs.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance to sustain line efficiency.
• Stop production in consultation with the laboratory technician when specifications are not met.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills for reporting and coordinating with supervisors and lab staff.
