Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who wants to build reliable, secure, and automated platforms rather than simply manage a support queue. This position is ideal for a fresh graduate or someone with 1‑2 years of relevant experience who enjoys solving infrastructure problems with code. You will work closely with engineering and platform teams to improve how applications are built, deployed, observed, and secured across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Help build and maintain Kubernetes‑based application platforms.
• Create and improve deployment automation using Docker, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
• Provision and manage infrastructure through infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Improve observability with Grafana, Tempo, Alloy, and Mimir, turning telemetry into actionable insights.
• Support cloud and hybrid environments, primarily GCP and OpenShift, while maintaining a cloud‑agnostic mindset.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce manual work.
• Assist with incident investigation, reliability improvements, and post‑incident follow‑ups.
• Partner with developers to make deployments safer, faster, and more repeatable.
• Contribute to platform security practices, including secrets handling, access controls, container security, and policy compliance.
• Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and reusable automation.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, software engineering, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals, networking basics, and Git/CI‑CD concepts.
• Exposure to containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform).
• Programming or scripting ability in at least one language such as Python, Bash, Go, or JavaScript.
• Strong automation‑first mindset and clear communication skills.
