Key Account Manager – Modern Trade

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager – Modern Trade to lead and grow our strategic retail relationships in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on managing key accounts, driving sales growth, and strengthening partnerships with major modern trade retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned Modern Trade key accounts.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers and key decision‑makers.
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales, distribution, and profitability targets.
• Lead annual negotiations, Business Development Agreements (BDAs), promotional plans, and commercial activities.
• Monitor sell‑in, sell‑out, stock levels, OOS, and customer performance and take corrective actions when required.
• Develop promotional calendars and joint business plans with customers.
• Identify growth opportunities across assortment, distribution, visibility, and promotional execution.
• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Operations to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage customer forecasts, orders, collections, claims, and commercial agreements.
• Conduct regular business reviews and provide clear performance updates and action plans.

Required profile

• Strong experience in FMCG Modern Trade / Key Account Management.
• Solid understanding of the Saudi Modern Trade market and major retailers.
• Previous experience managing Panda Retail Company is a strong advantage.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Good understanding of sales analysis, forecasting, trade spend, and account profitability.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage complex customer requirements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
