Land Surveyor – Construction Projects (Jeddah/Madinah)

About the role

The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting site surveys, setting out coordinates, axes and levels, verifying compliance with approved drawings, and preparing accurate survey records and as‑built information throughout the project lifecycle. The role supports construction projects located in Jeddah and Madinah.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys, setting‑out activities and level measurements at project sites.
• Establish and verify coordinates, control points, building axes, boundaries and elevations.
• Review approved drawings and survey data before commencing work.
• Use Total Station, GPS, Auto Level and other surveying instruments accurately.
• Verify that buildings, roads, utilities and infrastructure are executed according to approved drawings.
• Prepare survey reports, calculations, records, sketches and as‑built information.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, QA/QC personnel and consultants to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain surveying instruments and ensure calibration certificates are valid.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years of land surveying experience, preferably on construction, building, road or infrastructure projects.
• Valid Saudi residency permit (transferable preferred) and openness to all nationalities.
• Proficiency in Arabic or English; both languages preferred.
• Willingness to work on sites in Jeddah or Madinah as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station, GPS and Auto Level equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of coordinates, elevations, control points and setting‑out procedures.
• Competence in AutoCAD and relevant surveying software.
• Capability to produce accurate survey reports and as‑built records.
