Lead Avionics Instructor – Aviation Technical Training

About the role

Riyadh Air is seeking a Lead Avionics Instructor to design and deliver high‑quality technical training for its avionics workforce. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring aircraft operations remain safe, compliant, and ready for the airline’s ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative classroom, practical, and on‑the‑job training programmes for avionics technicians.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and provide feedback to ensure technical competence and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate short‑term training schedules and support workshop implementation.
• Identify non‑compliance risks, support corrective actions, and maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge.
• Contribute to performance management, talent development, and policy guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of experience as an aviation technical trainer or instructor.
• Degree‑qualified with deep expertise in avionics systems.
• Hold a GACA/EASA/ICAO Type II Avionics certification.
• Preferably type‑rated on Boeing 787 and/or Airbus A320 family aircraft.
