Lead Business System Analyst – Downstream Digital Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our Downstream Transformation & Business Excellence Department (DST&BED). The team defines, designs and delivers digital capabilities that improve operational performance and enable data‑driven decision‑making across downstream operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and document business requirements for downstream digital solutions.
• Participate in solution ideation, design sprints and user interviews to synthesize user needs.
• Benchmark best practices and evaluate existing technologies and market solutions.
• Recommend improvements to current operating practices aligned with digital transformation objectives.
• Provide product ownership support by defining features and refining user stories.
• Translate end‑user requirements into solution features and detailed functional specifications.
• Define user acceptance criteria and ensure readiness for development.
• Manage dependencies between digital solutions and ensure alignment across platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas downstream, with at least 10 years in digital solution development and implementation.
• Proven experience as a business analyst on complex digital programs.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, operations and digital solution teams.
• Strong knowledge of business process modeling (As‑Is and To‑Be).
