About the role
kbr is looking for a Lead Pipeline Engineer based in Corniche. The role leads onshore pipeline design and supports construction queries, working to agreed project milestones.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of experience in onshore pipeline design (pre-FEED, FEED and detail design).
- Experience leading a large team of 15 or more people.
- Extensive experience in pipeline route selection and optimization studies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
- Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
Required skills
- Pipeline calculations such as road crossings, upheaval buckling, buoyancy, combined stresses and elastic bends.
- Knowledge of international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, MSS SP, ISO, NACE and DNV.
- Ability to support construction queries in line with applicable standards.
- Ability to multi-task and meet project milestones.
Preferred: local Saudi Arabia experience, Civil 3D experience and experience with 3D model projects.
