Lead Specialist, Cost Controller

About the role

The Lead Specialist, Cost Controller will provide financial planning, cost control and analytical support for MAADEN's Medical Services and Medical Insurance activities. The role focuses on monitoring expenditures, evaluating cost performance and delivering insights that enable effective decision‑making and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse healthcare‑related expenditures, perform variance analysis and identify cost drivers.
• Support the development and implementation of cost optimisation initiatives and performance‑improvement opportunities.
• Conduct financial and operational analyses, prepare periodic financial reports, management dashboards and performance metrics.
• Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate operational and investment opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long‑range financial plans, and track actual performance against approved budgets.
• Collaborate with Medical Services, Medical Insurance, Finance and other stakeholders to provide analytical support and financial insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cost control, financial planning, financial analysis or related finance functions.
• Preferred professional certifications such as CMA, CFA or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare, medical services or medical insurance is an advantage.
