Learning and Development Officer

About the role

Saudi Service Company Limited (SSCL) is a leading service provider in Saudi Arabia, delivering maintenance, facility management and technical support across healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors. The Learning and Development Officer will design, develop and manage digital training solutions to enhance employee capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive e‑learning courses and digital training materials using modern authoring tools and learning platforms.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate training requirements into effective e‑learning content.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including content upload, learner tracking and reporting.
• Implement blended learning solutions that combine e‑learning, virtual training and on‑the‑job learning.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and performance metrics.
• Update existing e‑learning courses to ensure accuracy, relevance and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with IT and HR teams to maintain functionality, security and integration of learning technologies.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to employees and managers on e‑learning tools.
• Research emerging learning technologies and recommend enhancements to digital learning strategies.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on training participation, completion rates and learning outcomes for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education Technology, Instructional Design or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in e‑learning development, instructional design or training coordination, preferably in a corporate environment.
