Legal Adviser – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

The Legal Adviser will provide comprehensive legal guidance to ensure the company operates within all applicable laws and regulations. This role supports management across corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters, helping to minimise legal risk and protect the organisation’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior management and internal departments on corporate, commercial and labor issues.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with labour, commercial, corporate and industry regulations.
• Handle disputes, claims and litigation, coordinating with external law firms as needed.
• Review and advise on company policies, governance frameworks and employment matters.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and other strategic transactions.
• Protect intellectual property rights, trademarks, copyrights and confidential information.
• Represent the company before government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and assess business impact.
• Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
• Licensed to practice law or eligible under local regulations (preferred).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, labour and contract law.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
