Legal Consultant – Saudi Arabia Compliance & Data Privacy

About the role

Master Works is looking for a Legal Consultant to provide expert legal advice and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian laws and regulations. The role focuses on data management, data privacy, and public‑sector legal matters, supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of matters, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and recommend revisions to legal documents and correspondence.
• Interpret Saudi laws, regulations, policies, and assess their impact on the organization.
• Monitor updates to Saudi legislation and advise on necessary adjustments.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, memoranda, reports, and recommendations.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Support development and review of legal policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
• Advise on data management, governance, and privacy requirements in line with Saudi law.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and coordinate with external legal counsel when needed.
• Assist in handling legal disputes and other related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Legal Affairs or Legal Consulting, preferably within a public‑sector entity.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, and legal frameworks.
• Experience with data management and data privacy regulations.
• Native Arabic speaker and fluent English proficiency.

Required skills

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification – preferred.
