Legal Counsel (FMCG)

About the role

The Legal Counsel will provide legal advisory across international markets to support the company’s expansion. This is a high‑impact position with significant ownership and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day business activities across international markets.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, partnership and service contracts.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying legal risks and recommending practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial transactions and business operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and corporate governance requirements across international markets.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide timely legal guidance to business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in corporate law, commercial law, transactions or a related legal field.
• Experience in international commercial transactions, contract negotiations and legal risk assessments across multiple markets.
• Strong knowledge of commercial agreements, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract management and transaction structuring.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
