Legal Counsel – Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Our client, a large conglomerate in Riyadh, is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support and guidance across the business. The role involves managing complex legal matters, advising stakeholders, and ensuring robust legal governance to support the organisation’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex legal issues across commercial contracts, corporate matters and regulatory compliance.
• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements and contracts.
• Identify legal risks and provide practical solutions to senior leadership and business units.
• Develop and strengthen legal processes and governance frameworks.
• Support strategic initiatives and business decisions with trusted legal advice.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on Saudi law.
• Proven experience handling commercial contracts and corporate matters within a large organisation or conglomerate.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks and risk management.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders independently and manage complex matters.
• Saudi national, in line with Saudisation policies.
