Legal Specialist – Supply Chain (Dammam, Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Legal Specialist will provide comprehensive legal support to a logistics and transportation company, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and protecting commercial interests. The role focuses on contract management, dispute resolution, and legal risk mitigation across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate logistics, transportation, warehousing, supplier and customer agreements.
• Advise business units on contractual, commercial, operational and regulatory matters.
• Represent the company in courts, judicial and quasi‑judicial authorities.
• Prepare and review legal memoranda, pleadings, responses and other legal documents.
• Manage disputes and litigation from assessment through resolution.
• Handle financial claims, enforcement proceedings, promissory notes and settlements.
• Conduct internal investigations of legal violations and complaints.
• Monitor Saudi legal and regulatory developments affecting logistics and transportation.
• Manage cases through the Najiz platform and coordinate with external counsel.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, cases, claims and legal documentation.
• Prepare periodic legal reports and support risk mitigation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in logistics, transportation or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi laws such as the Land Transport Law, Civil Transactions Law, Commercial Courts Law, Evidence Law, Enforcement Law and Labor Law.
• Hands‑on experience with the Najiz platform and other government portals.
