Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in Taif, Saudi Arabia. The role advises and guides the Customer on logistics activities such as supply of aircraft parts and services, parts replacement, unserviceable returns and warehouse management, within the terms of the Customer contract. It is part of the Customer Logistics Team on site.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with aviation, safety, quality and export control regulations and procedures, and with Airbus Helicopters management systems, policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with the AHA and AH front office to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage logistics flows from the start of the shipment with the supplier until delivery at the agreed location, in line with the contract terms.
• Liaise between the Customer Logistics and operations departments.
• Advise customer staff on supply matters and respond to their queries together with AHA.
• Investigate and expedite logistics issues affecting fleet availability.
• Provide periodic status updates to the Customer Logistics Manager and support Customer activities on site.
• Apply a continuous improvement approach to all logistics activities and perform other duties as assigned.
