Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

Darb, a leading developer and operator of fuel stations in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the end‑to‑end transportation of fuel and related materials. The role ensures safe, timely, and compliant delivery across the network while optimizing the use of internal fleet and third‑party carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the logistics team and monitor trucks from loading to final delivery.
• Maintain 100% compliance with truck sealing procedures and fuel loss prevention standards.
• Conduct regular safety, security, and technical inspections of trucks and fuel tankers.
• Plan and schedule daily fuel transportation activities, prioritising internal fleet usage.
• Track all trips in real time using GPS and the Wathiq platform, documenting loading, departure, arrival, and delivery times.
• Redirect shipments during emergencies within delegated authority.
• Analyse daily transportation reports, identify delays or deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare logistics performance reports and evaluate carrier performance for management review.
• Manage import logistics operations and assess feasibility of new station locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising logistics or transportation teams.
• Strong knowledge of fuel transportation regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Ability to coordinate internal fleet and third‑party carriers efficiently.
• Excellent analytical skills for reporting and problem‑solving.
