Maintenance Head / Specialist (Utilities)

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Maintenance Head for the Utilities and Tanks area in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that daily maintenance activities (corrective, preventive and predictive for mechanical, I/E and rotating equipment) are carried out in line with safety, environmental and quality rules so that plant availability, reliability and operation continuity are assured.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all maintenance jobs assigned to contractors across all disciplines
• Report regularly in the CMMS system on maintenance execution
• Support planning, scheduling and other support supervisors
• Prepare a weekly report and take part in the maintenance meeting
• Take part in developing area strategic plans so that day-to-day activities meet safety and quality standards
• Enhance staff knowledge through job-specific training, coordinating with the Head of HR
• Follow up all safety requirements during job execution

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical or instrumentation areas
• At least 12 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance
• Fluent in writing and reading English
• Leadership skills in large organizations, good judgment under pressure, strategic thinking and ability to work in a multicultural environment

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the SAP system
• Fair knowledge of plant process operations
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance execution, planning, reliability, quality, people and HSE management
